What Analytics Shows
Analytics turns your personal tasks and focus sessions into a clear picture of how your days are going: how much you finish, whether you finish on time, how long you keep a streak going, and how much time you spend focused.
Analytics is part of the Pro plan. Free accounts see their completion rate for the last 7 days and a blurred preview of everything else. See loghue.com/pricing for plan details.
Note: Analytics counts your personal tasks. Workspace tasks are not included, but time from the focus timer counts on both personal and workspace tasks.
Opening Analytics
Click Analytics in the LogHue sidebar. Choose how far back to look with the range buttons at the top:
- 7 days, available on every plan
- 30 days and 90 days, Pro only
Days follow the time zone of your device, so a task finished at 11 PM counts for that day wherever you are.
Your Numbers
Completion rate
The share of tasks due in the selected range that you marked as done, shown with the exact count.
On time rate
Of the tasks you finished, how many you finished before their deadline.
Overdue
Open tasks whose deadline has already passed.
Streak
The number of days in a row with at least one completed task. A streak stays alive until the end of today, so if you finished a task yesterday you still have today to keep it going. Below it, Best shows your longest streak so far.
Focus time
The total time you spent in the focus timer during the selected range.
Points
Your points for the range, how they compare to the previous range of the same length, and your current level with a progress bar to the next one.
The Chart
The chart shows your activity for every day in the range. Use the switch above it to change what it shows:
- Tasks done, the number of tasks you completed each day
- Focus minutes, the minutes you focused each day
The left axis scales to your busiest day, and the count is printed above each bar for shorter ranges.
How Focus Time Is Counted
Every session from the focus timer counts, on personal tasks and workspace tasks alike.
- Only time the timer was actually running counts, paused time does not
- Reaching your target saves the session automatically, otherwise it is saved when you press Stop
- Sessions shorter than one minute are not saved, and Cancel discards a session
- Sessions are saved on every plan, so your history is already there if you upgrade later
Points and Levels
You earn points for finishing tasks and for focusing:
| What you do | Points |
|---|---|
| Finish a task on time | 10 |
| Finish a recurring task on time | 5 |
| Finish a task late | 2 |
| Task points limit | 60 per day |
| Focus time | 1 per 5 minutes |
| Focus points limit | 20 per day |
The daily limits keep a single day from running away with your score, so steady habits beat one big push.
Levels
Your level is based on all the points you have ever earned, so it does not change when you switch the range.
| Level | Starts at |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 0 points |
| Level 2 | 100 points |
| Level 3 | 300 points |
| Level 4 | 600 points |
| Level 5 | 1000 points |
Levels keep going beyond 5, and each one takes a bit more than the last.
Tasks You Finished Before Analytics
LogHue only knows when you finished a task from the day Analytics launched. Older tasks still count toward your completion rate, but not toward on time rate, streak, points, or the daily chart.
Everything fills in as you complete new tasks, so your numbers become more complete over the first weeks.
What Is Not Counted
- Workspace tasks
- The original recurring task, only its daily occurrences count
- Tasks you unmark as done, until you complete them again
- Focus sessions shorter than one minute
