How to track work and log progress in your workspace

Creating Tasks

Tasks are the building blocks of work in LogHue. To create a task:

  • Go to your workspace
  • Click "New Task"
  • Enter a clear title
  • Add a description (optional but recommended)
  • Assign it to a team member (optional)
  • Click "Create"

Tasks can be assigned to specific members or left unassigned for anyone to pick up.

Task States

Tasks move through four states as work progresses:

Open

Newly created, awaiting action

In Progress

Currently being worked on

Completed

Finished and verified

Closed

Finalized and archived

Admins can change task states. Members can only move tasks to "In Progress" and "Completed".

Logging Work

Logs are records of what you've done. They keep the team informed about progress:

  • Go to the Logs section
  • Click "New Log"
  • Describe what you accomplished
  • Optionally link to a task
  • Click "Add Log"

Logs are timestamped automatically and visible to all workspace members.

Discussions

Start conversations with your team:

General Discussions

Start a discussion about anything related to the workspace.

Task-Linked Discussions

Start a discussion directly on a task for focused conversation.

Comments & Replies

Comment on discussions and reply to others to collaborate.

Notes

Keep important information handy:

  • Create personal notes for yourself
  • Create shared notes for the team
  • Use notes for meeting summaries, ideas, or references
  • Access notes quickly from the sidebar

Archive

Keep your workspace clean by archiving completed tasks:

  • Archived tasks are hidden from the main view
  • All data is preserved
  • Archived tasks are searchable
  • You can restore archived tasks anytime

To archive: Open a task → click "Archive". To view archived: go to Archive in the sidebar.
